Ali Almaas appointed as the Director of Rooms by Vakkaru Maldives

Ali Almaas has been promoted to the position of Director of Rooms at Vakkaru Maldives. Almaas has been with the resort since March 2019, starting as Duty Manager and then being promoted to Assistant Front Office Manager and Front Office Manager. He has played a key role in managing front of house operations, building a strong team and guiding them through the challenges posed by Covid-19. Almaas has also been instrumental in achieving record-breaking Tripadvisor reviews and winning inter-departmental awards.

In his new role, Almaas will be responsible for managing not only the Front Office, guest services, butler services, recreation and Kids club operations, but also overseeing the Housekeeping operations.
