The Ritz-Carlton Maldives Introduces An Island-Inspired Eid Celebration

The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands has announced a special programme for guests during the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr celebrations. The resort has planned a series of exciting events and activities from April 22nd to 26th, to make the holiday memorable for all guests. The Eid Celebrations programme has been designed to provide guests with immersive experiences that capture the essence of Maldivian culture, food, art, and recreation.

The culinary journey is a key highlight of the programme. On April 22nd, the resort will host its weekly cocktail party at Beach Shack, where guests can enjoy a stunning sunset view while mingling with each other. The same day, Souk will be held at Beach Shack, featuring a middle-eastern inspired bazaar with Maldivian artisans and delicacies. The Arabesque will offer a grand evening for guests on the following two days, with a variety of dishes including mezze platters and tandoor-grilled meats. Guests can also enjoy Maldivian Night at Beach Shack on April 24th, which will feature spreads of Maldivian food prepared by Maldivian women.

For seafood lovers, a Bedouin Barbecue at Mystique Garden is scheduled on April 25th, while a Lobster beach dinner under the stars will be held on April 26th at the Beach Shack.

The Ritz Kids programme offers plenty of activities to keep children entertained during Eid Al-Fitr. The resort has planned a fun-filled list of activities for kids, including moon and stars cut-outs, belly dancing workshop, Eid Al-Fitr palace building, Eid-themed cookies decorating, henna art, Eid-inspired ceramic workshop, Eid in Colour activity using vibrant coloured powder, and an Eid Dhoni Safari.

The resort has also arranged for a range of recreational activities for guests, including Batik Art Workshops, Kasabu Workshop, and Floral Arts sessions. These workshops offer guests a chance to explore ancient Indonesian traditions, the Maldivian art of ‘Kasabu Gethun’, and paper flower cut-outs respectively.
