Kurumba Maldives Resort has become the focal point as the Tekkers Resort Cup 2023 advances to the North Kaafu zone following its successful South Kaafu edition.
The tournament’s grand opening took place Friday night, marked by an electrifying ceremony that set the stage for the opening match between hosts Kurumba Maldives and Sheraton Maldives.
With the North Kaafu Zone now in full swing, a total of 9 participating teams have stepped onto the field. Group 1 consists of Kurumba Maldives, Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort, Meeru Maldives, OBLU SELECT Sangeli, and Bandos Maldives, while Group 2 features Jumeirah Maldives, OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi, Baros Maldives, and COCO Bodu Hithi.
The triumphant team from this zone will contend with South Kaafu Zone champions, Crossroads Maldives, in the Grand Finale.
Dhivehi Insurance stands as the Tekkers Resort Cup’s main title sponsor, with Gold Partners including Valvoline, Hawks Private Limited, Veliga Hardware, Maldivian, Villa Mart, Print Lab, TMA, and Sonee Sports. The list of Silver Partners comprises Sea Gear, Regional Airports, and Copier Plus.
