The largest virtual consumer travel expo in the Maldives, the Maldives Virtual Tour Expo, has been completed after successfully reaching more than 7 million tourists from around the world.
Over 1000 virtual tours from 50 various islands throughout the Maldives were showcased at the exhibition. By participating in the lucky draw, visitors to the Maldives Virtual Tour also had the opportunity to win a complimentary trip to the Maldives. The lucky draw winners will be announced on September 18, 2022.
India, Turkey, Bangladesh, Egypt, USA, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, UK, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, and CIS nations are some of the top nations reached by the exhibition.
Additionally, Maldives Virtual Excursion and Trans Maldivian Airways worked together to offer a spectacular seaplane tour to one lucky Maldives Virtual Tour Expo 2022 attendee. Over 700 islands and 13 atolls will be visited during this 12-hour seaplane tour to demonstrate the natural splendor of the Maldives’ surroundings. The aircraft will stop at several locations during the tour so that visitors can disembark and explore the island, partake in some refreshments, and visit the southernmost atoll of the archipelago.
By mimicking actual travel circumstances, this expo encouraged visitors from all over the world to connect with the Maldives from the comfort of their own homes. Through the virtual expo, guests may enjoy 360-degree tours of several resorts and islands in the Maldives.
