Le Meridien Maldives Resort & Spa Appoints New Director of Food & Beverage

Michal Zemlicka has been hired as the new Director of Food & Beverage at Le Meridien Maldives Resort & Spa. Michal Zemlicka is a driven and goal-oriented professional with more than 15 years of experience running food and beverage departments in hotels and restaurants. He most recently held the positions of Executive Assistant Manager at Furaveli Maldives and Director of F&B for four years at Sheraton Bali Kuta.

At the Sheraton Bali Kuta, Michal oversaw starting innovative F&B projects that were successful. These projects included promotions that increased sales and marketing exposure and Michal was recognized as Feast Restaurant's first runner-up for "Best International Restaurant" and Bene Italian Kitchen's first runner-up for "Best Italian Restaurant."

Michal will also oversee the Le Meridien Maldives' culinary season, which will feature new pop-ups like Little Red Door from Paris, No. 29 on The World's Best Bars list.
